Lisa Temple has been teaching yoga for over 15 years and involved in the arena of health and well being for almost 20 years.
She is honored to enough to have studied and obtained teacher qualifications with some of the most well respected masters such as Deepak Chopra, Sri Joytish Patel, Swami Vidyanand, Founder and President Yoga Alliance India, Yoga Alliance Asia – Pacific, Yoga Alliance International and Dr David Frawley Founder of The American Institute of Vedic Studies.
Swami Vidyanand is a renowned yoga master and the founder of Transformational Yoga, an innovative yogic system that synthesizes techniques of hatha, white tantra, raja, mantra, ashtanga and kundalini yoga to bring about rapid transformation. His signature system is inspired by the Integral Yoga of Sri Aurobindo and The Mother.
Dr. Deepak Chopra, endoncrinologist and neurologist David Simon founded the Chopra Center for Wellbeing, which incorporated Ayurveda in its regimen. The University of California, San School of Medicine and the American Medical Association have granted continuing medical education credits for some programs offered to physicians at the Chopra Center
She has teacher qualifications from both the Chopra Centre and achieved Master Teacher level from the imminent Sri Ma school Hong Kong under the personal intense training of Swami Vidyanand.
Lisa has taught in Hong Kong, Thailand and Italy and has returned to settle in her home town of Bray.
She is completing advanced studies with the American Institute of Vedic Studies in Yoga Therapy and also completing a post grad diploma Arbitration in UCD.
Her classes are accessible to all levels of Yoga and focus on the individual needs of each pupil bringing balance and harmony to mind body and soul.
Lisa also has experience in the development of programs for specific needs such as Fertility, Stress, Depression, PTS, Pregnancy, Cancer recovery, Weight Loss Clinics and Body Sculpting and Body Building. She has had experience in working with Children and special needs. Lisa was an active Irish dancer and uses music during her class to encourage expression and movement. She has also worked with specific professions such as Pilots, Doctors, Police and Fire brigade, Ballet and Sports and Education in developing programs specific to their professional needs.

I like to keep my classes small and to have a good understanding of the goals and personal challenges of each individual student. I believe that classes should be priced in a way that allows regular attendance to achieve best results.

I have also a background in Dance and I like to incorporate the use of music and movement into each class. The benefits of this are the development of self-confidence and the development of trigger associations of certain rhythms with feelings of peace and relaxation.
I believe many of the problems of modern society mean that creating a safe space for people to move out of their comfort zones with awareness can assist in a feeling of empowerment which assist in the development of new perspective on issues which may feel overwhelming.

Instructor:– Aoife Ni Mhurch
Aoife has been practising Yoga and Meditation for about 8 years now. From the beginning she felt that Yoga was something special, and her dream of sharing her passion for Yoga with others lead her to qualify as a teacher. She is excited to be teaching in her home town Bray, alongside Lisa, who has been an inspirational teacher and friend for the past few years, and who was instrumental in her becoming a teacher.
Aoife trained in Yoga Sacred Space, Wicklow, with many renowned teachers including Teresa Murphy-Moore, Lisa Peterson, and Tony Purcell, and is continuously expanding and deepening her studies and practice. She is now training in Yoga Therapy and Transformational Yoga with Lisa Temple. Aoife is currently studying for her Pregnancy Yoga certificate and will be starting Pregnancy Yoga classes in the New Year.
Her training has focused on the many aspects of Yoga, based on Ashtanga, Eight Limbs of Yoga, from Asanas (physical postures) and Pranayama (breathing exercises) to Meditation and Philosophy. She has also attended Vipassana Meditation courses in England and Brazil.
Aoife incorporates these different aspects into a gently flowing Vinyasa practice, which aims to build confidence, flexibility, balance and strength both within and without. She has seen that practicing Yoga, both on and off the mat, is not only a huge benefit to one’s health, but also helps to reduce stress, teaches how to deal with life’s challenges, boosts confidence, and generally improves quality of life. Aoife believes that these skills are invaluable to everyone living in today’s world.

Instructor:– Carol Halpin
Carol Halpin has been practising yoga for many years and in early 2014 started to attend Transformational Yoga classes in the Olive 3 Studio in Bray under the direction of Lisa Temple (who was personally trained by the renowned Swami Vidyanand and Deepak Chopra). She developed a strong interest in the link between Yoga, health and well-being and quickly realised that she wished to study further. As she progressed in her studies, she observed the connection between the flexibility, balance and strength gained from yoga and one’s quality of life. She joined the Teacher Training course in 2014 and is now certified as a yoga instructor. She is passionate about sharing what she has learned with others.
Carol also has an interest in Mindfulness and the way in which it cultivates skills for healthy emotional, mental and physical well-being and how it can be incorporated into daily life to help reduce stress. In 2013, she completed a course in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) under Anne Twohig (who trained under the direction of Jon Kabat-Zinn, the developer of the MBSR course in America).
Teaching has been part of Carol’s life for many years. She holds an honours degree in languages from Trinity College Dublin and a Higher Diploma in Education. She has over 20 years experience in teaching in secondary school in Ireland.
She is delighted to be joining the team in the Olive 3 Studio, Bray and is looking forward to being able to share some of the knowledge she has gained with her future students.
